Yesterday, I wanted to go outside. I went to get my scarf and tried to put it round my neck. So that I could show Mummy and Daddy that I wanted to go out!
This morning, Mummy and I played in front of the mirror in the bathroom. And she asked me where I was. And I showed her. I pointed at myself in the mirror.
Also, when I see a clock or a star in the new book I got for christmas, I point at our christmas star in the lounge and the kitchen clock. See! I know quite a lot already!
Die erste bewusst erlebte Weihnachten bei Albert musste auch auf Video festgehalten werden. Da vor Albert die Vorbereitungen des Baumes und der Geschenke verborgen blieben, warteten wir auf dem Moment, als er diese erstmal begegnet:

Die Überraschung dauerte nicht besonders lange, dafür wurden die Geschenke mit um so größere Aufmerksamkeit begegnet.

Und so wurde sehr bald der Favorit des Abends öffentlich gekrönt (und reichlich strappaziert…).

Hier ein paar Bilder von unserer gestrigen und heutigen Weihnacht. Sehr wichtig: Albert hat ein Laufrad von Oma und Opa bekommen und ist seitdem verkehrstechnisch flexibel!
Here a few pictures of our Christmas celebration yesterday and today. Very important: Albert got a bike-like-thing from Grandpa and Granddad and he is now almost a participant of ordinary traffic!
Hallo, ich bins! Der Albert! Ich soll Bescheid sagen, dass Mama und Papa bald Weihnachtsgruesse senden. Aber sie sind ein bisschen spät. Sie sind nämlich krank. Magen-Darm-Infekt. Ich war vorher krank. Und wir hatten eine eingefrorene Wasserleitung. Kein Wasser im Bad. Nur kaltes Wasser in der Kueche. Aber jetzt ist das Wasser wieder da. Und bald können Mama und Papa wieder ein bisschen was essen. Und dann feiern wir endlich Weihnachten! Bis dann! Albert
Hi, its me! Albert! I am supposed to let you know that Mummy and Daddy will soon send Christmas greetings. Aber they are a little late because they are sick. Tummy bug. And before, I was sick. And we had a frozen water pipe. No water in the bathroom. Only cold water in the kitchen. But now the water is back and soon Mummy and Daddy can eat something again.
