Heute gab es vor meinem Nachmittagsschläfchen ein bisschen Quatsch mit Papa. Das war sehr gut!
Today I had a fun time with Daddy before having my afternoon nap. That was funtastic!!
Heute bin ich 5 Monate alt! Gestern habe ich herausgefunden, dass ich 7200 g schwer und 68 cm lang bin. Ich bin so groß wie andere Jungs in meinem Alter aber ein bisschen größer. Als der Durchschnitt, sagt Mama. Was auch immer das heißt…
Ich LIEBE das Stehen! Das kann man auch auf dem Foto sehen. Ich habe sehr viel mit meinen Fingern und Händen ausprobiert in der letzten Zeit. Manchmal halte ich sogar meine Milchflasche selbst. Wenn ich die Flasche (kommen) sehe, dann öffne ich schon meinen Mund. Wenn ich hungrig bin, versteht sich. Sonst nicht. Ich weiß nämlich, was darin ist. Entweder sehr leckere Milch von Mama oder nicht so leckere Milch aus Pulver. Bald werde ich nur noch Milch aus Pulver trinken, denn Mama fängt bald an zu arbeiten. Ach ja, und Papa sagt, dass ich dann bald Brei bekommen werde. Und von einem Löffel esse. Aber nur wenn ich das mag. Ich muß noch nicht, sagt Papa.
So, nun werde ich ein bisschen schlafen. Bis bald!

Today, I am five months old! Yesterday, I found out that weigh 7200 g and am 68 cm tall. I am as heavy as most of the boys of my age, but I am a little taller. Than average, says Mummy. What ever that is…
I LOVE standing on my feet, you can see that on the picture! And I have practiced using my hands and fingers a lot. Also, I have started holding my own milk bottle, but not always, just sometimes I like to hold it. When I see the bottle, I already open my mouth when I am hungry. Because I know what’s in there: either really yummy milk from Mummy or less yummy milk made from formula. Soon, when Mummy starts working, I will drink only formula. But Daddy says, I will also be given my first REAL baby food. And eat from a spoon. But only if I like it. I don’t have to, says Daddy.
I have to sleep a litte now…

In den letzten 3 Tagen war Albert oft anstrenged und hat viel gequengelt. Dieser Anblick ist daher doppelt schön!
In the last 3 days Albert did not have very good mood – therefore seeing something like this is especially nice!

Two days ago, Albert found out how to squeak and has been doing a lot of practising since. After all, we can not complain of lack of entertainment these days!
Vor 2 Tagen hat Albert herausgefunden wie man quietscht. Seitdem praktiziert er non-stop. Über einen Mangel an Unterhaltung können wir uns derzeit keineswegs beklagen!

Someone is wide awake and ready to depart from Bed(fordshire). Mornings are great because he normally starts it with a big smile! That compensates for my looks. Because I normally look rather cognitively absent in the mornings….
Jemand ist hellwach und möchte aufstehen! Albert am Morgen zu erleben ist normalerweise sehr schön – er beginnt den Tag meist mit einem breiten Lachen! Das kompensiert mein Erscheinungsbild, welches eher etwas dumpfbackig anmutet…
